Ways to Give

Ways to Give

The programs and services the CRO offers “our neighbors” in crisis would not be possible without the generous support of our caring community. The majority of our funding comes from individual donors. Learn more about our Donor Privacy Policy.

Your financial donation allows “our neighbors” in crisis to meet their essential life needs: medicine; food; housing payments; and utility bills. It also supports our Pathways to Success initiative which offers training in many areas including budgeting, goal setting, interview skills, and nutrition.

Food and Other Items for Donation

In FY 2017, the CRO provided food to nearly 7,000 individuals valued at over $525,000.

Our food pantry is often low on the following items: cooking oil, spaghetti sauce, beef stew, canned meats, canned fruit, toothpaste, toothbrushes, potato flakes, box dinners, and baking items.

Do you have excess produce from your garden? Fresh produce is always a treat for individuals and families!

Our food pantry distributes personal hygiene products, laundry aids, cleaning supplies, and paper products in addition to food.

Please drop off your food donations during our regular hours of operation. For our locations, directions and hours, click here.

CRO Gift of the Month

Many individuals and community organizations help the CRO by collecting contributions of the Gift of the Month each and every month. Each year, this list is modified to reflect the needs of our Food Pantry. Below is our Gift of the Month list for 2020.
